Innovative Materials in Sterile Packaging: Enhancing Safety and Efficiency for Global Medical Supply Chains

2025-07-18

Nais Medical Packing Technology integrates advanced packaging materials—like PETG and Tyvek®—to meet evolving performance, sterilization, and sustainability demands.

As medical device designs grow more complex, packaging must evolve in tandem—not only to ensure sterility and protection but also to meet regulatory and environmental expectations. At Nais Medical Packing Technology, we focus on materials innovation to deliver optimized sterile packaging for today’s healthcare challenges.

One of our most trusted materials, PETG (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol), offers crystal-clear transparency, impact resistance, and compatibility with multiple sterilization methods including EO(Heat Sealing with Glued Cover) and Gamma. This makes it ideal for thermoformed blister trays that require visual inspection and strong barrier protection.

Meanwhile, Tyvek® by DuPont™ has become the gold standard for sterilization pouch and lid. Its high microbial barrier and excellent breathability make it ideal for EO and Steam sterilization. At Nais Medical, we convert Tyvek® into a variety of custom pouch sizes and lid structures, ensuring consistent sealing and clean peel performance across product types.

Our material selection process is informed by three key principles:

Compatibility with global sterilization methods

Ease of use for medical professionals

Sustainability across the product life cycle

By staying at the forefront of packaging materials and manufacturing techniques, Nais Medical helps OEMs and healthcare brands reduce risk, improve workflow efficiency, and maintain product integrity from assembly line to point of care.

From performance to protection—packaging materials matter. Let Nais Medical be your innovation partner.
